The following information has been collected by Frederick County Public School sixth graders.
This 2-day field study of local rivers and streams is a follow-up to the what was once the water unit taught in the classroom (now Ecosystems).
Students collect water data, observe biodiversity, and interact with their local ecosystems as part of their natural world. They also take part in student service learning as they conduct meaningful learning experiences in the watersheds of the Chesapeake Bay.
